The United Center, Inc. is a 501(3)c and is managed by a dedicated Board of Directors
Bob Hickam has been a United Center board member since 2003, when he was he was asked by them to provide direction to facilitate the use of the building as a concert venue. Recently retired from his dental practice, he jumped at the chance. His lifelong interest in music is a natural fit for the acoustically spectacular vibe the room provides. Being with a group of his good friends to help run the operation is one of the great joys of his life!
Bill Macy has been the President of the United Center Board for many years - his dedication to the organization is admirable!
Nancy Johnson has served as our Treasurer for several years. She is a friendly & familiar face at the door of the United Center and does a wonderful job keeping track of all things financial for the Board. She was a music educator in Clear Creek County for 30 years!
Bob Burnham serves as the Secretary for the Board of the United Center.
Marion Burnham is the Vice President of the United Center Board
Dru Van Doren has been a concert producer and music super fan for over 30 years. She is excited to be able to lend her talents to the United Center Board and looks forward to bringing many exciting artists to this stage!
Douglas Glidden is a well-known dj at the radio station housed at the United Center, and is a noted wildlife and landscape photographer, and atv tour guide, as well. His passion for music is only exceeded by his passion for wolf rescue! He and his gorgeous companion Leyra are often seen walking downtown.
Gary Jorgensen is our valued sound engineer as well as a dedicated member of our Board of Directors.
Carolyn Snow is a Board Member and also serves as a Liaison to the United Church. She is a talented artist who has lived in Idaho Springs with her husband Dale for over 50 years!
Sarah Morris Wirtz
Rita Williamson is a Board Member who served as an excellent school secretary for Carlson Elementary for many years. Her husband Fred also serves on the Board.
Judy Murphy
Sue Howell is a long-time resident and teacher in Clear Creek County. She is a liaison for the United Church.
Mark Morris is a local celebrity in various areas - as a musician, an extreme skier, and also as a photographer. He regularly graces our stage as a performer and is the founder of the annual RapidGrass festival!
Fred Williamson makes excellent cookies! He is also a valued Board Member :)
